Commedia has devised and run almost 50 training programmes for staff from over 20 countries in sub-Saharan Africa, the Middle East, Asia and the Pacific. This wealth of experience means we able to run courses on all aspects of development communications from technical topics like video camera operation, to the creative use of design software, to the strategic planning of development communications campaigns. Each training programme is built from a selection of modules, each with training materials that include video examples, notes and structured exercises.

Our clients usually choose to hold their training programmes locally as this is the most cost effective but we can easily recommend or organise residential courses in the UK if this appropriate. Courses can be organised for up to 20 -30 staff although smaller group teaching is often more effective.

Most of our training programmes include modules on audience research, scripting and pre-testing as well technical skills and creative design approaches. Commedia training programmes always try to match the practical needs of an organisation as much as the necessity for skills development for individuals.
